As we close out 2016, we are in awe of the revolutionary activism and achievements of V-Day, One Billion Rising and City of Joy.

Your generous support ensures that we are able to continue to support radical and creative resistance to all forms of violence against women and girls.

Now is the time for each of us to go deeper and commit ourselves - in heart and action - to the work of ending violence in all its forms. The future of our planet and our children depends on it. We must live now on the edge of incomprehensible madness, refusing to give up and refusing to pretend. Dancing on the precipice of annihilation while passionately encouraging and welcoming the new paradigm. It means leaping and assuming you will fall, dancing in the chaotic impossible passionate possible.

SAY IT, STAGE IT, and RISE in 2017!

There is still time to plan a local OBR or V-Day event in your community. Throughout the month of February and through International Women's Day on 8 March, V-Day benefits and One Billion Rising events will be taking place EVERYWHERE.

Say it, Stage it: Produce a V-Day benefit of The Vagina Monologues or A Memory, A Monologue, a Rant and a Prayer in your town, city, college campus. Raise awareness and funds locally and shine a Spotlight on Violence in the Workplace.

RISE in Solidarity Against the Exploitation of Women through One Billion Rising. Gather your community and stage a Rising in 2017.

Radically reimagine how you can use the tools to end all forms of violence against women and girls:

Dancing on Hurt Feet: Artistic Uprising Moves Audience Through Poetry

The recent performance poetry project at the The Culture Project at The Lynn Redgrave Theater featured the innovative work of Aja Monet, Gina Loring & Jaha Zainabu. The show platformed vital voices, out from the margins and on to center stage, in a celebration of black womanhood that embraced individuality with integrity, solidarity, and humor. Produced by Eve and One Billion Rising, the evening was sold out and received an amazing response by audience members. Here are some snapshots from the evening, as photographed by Nina Robinson:
